2008 Scholarship Awards

Medical and Dental Society Awards 9 Scholarships at 2008 Fall Event
Nine scholarships were awarded at the annual College of Science and Medical & Dental Society Tailgate.
The Medical & Dental Society presented the
James & Norma J.Rosborough Foundation,
Walter S. McGregor,
Robert Walker Best Memorial, and
TAMU Medical & Dental Society Endowed Scholarships.
Dr. Joe & Mary Abell '54 presented the Joseph & Mary Abell Endowed Scholarship.
Dr.Susan Luehr '84 and Dr. Mark Barhorst '88 each presented the two scholarships they funded for 2008.
The day could not have been more perfect,filled with a "phenomena in physics" demonstration for children and curious adults, great food,comaraderie, and an exciting day of football as the Aggies hosted the Red Raiders. |
